Currently quarks are believed to be fundamental particles, and as such are not composed of anything.
Quark is the smallest particle ever discovered.
That error bothered me quite often years ago while using Quark 4.0. One way to fix it is throw away the quark preferences file and restart, a longer fix, totally reinstall Quark.
The proton is composed of three elementary particles called quarks. These quarks are influenced by the electromagnetic force and therefore have a charge. The quark makeup of one proton is 'uud', or 2 up quarks and one down quark. The charge of a proton is +1 e (as opposed to that of an electron; -1 e) The charge of an up quark is +2⁄3 e and that of a down quark is -1/3 e. Therefore you get +2⁄3 e + +2⁄3 e + -1/3 e which amounts to +1 e. The reason a neutron is neutral is for the same reason. It's composition is 'udd', or one up quark and two down. I won't actually write it out again, but when the charge of one up quark and two down is added the charge is 0 e
Quark types are referred to as "flavors". The quark flavors are called: Up (u), Down (d), Charm (c), Strange (s), Top (t) and Bottom (b).
A Meson is a subatomic particle that comprises of 1 quark and 1 anti-quark.
A muon does not have a quark composition as it is a type of elementary particle, not a composite particle made up of quarks. Muons are classified as leptons, which are fundamental particles that do not experience the strong nuclear force and are not composed of quarks.
The quark composition is different: - proton: 2 up quarks + 1 down quark - netron: 2 down quarks + 1 up quark The down quark is heavier.
A meson is comprised of one quark and one antiquark. Another way to comment on the composition of the meson might be that it contains a quark-antiquark pair. A link can be found below for more information.
quark and anti-quark making the composition of protons and neutrons.
An antibottom quark (or b-bar quark) is the antiparticle of a bottom quark. It has the same mass as a bottom quark but opposite electric charge and other quantum numbers. When a bottom quark meets an antibottom quark, they can annihilate each other and produce energy.

Neutral pions are composed of a quark-antiquark pair, specifically an up quark and an anti-up quark or a down quark and an anti-down quark. They are the lightest mesons and are unstable, decaying rapidly into two photons.
A quark is composed of elementary particles called elementary fermions, which are the building blocks of matter. These elementary fermions include up quarks, down quarks, and strange quarks, each with specific properties such as electric charge and mass.

An anti-down quark is the antimatter counterpart of a down quark, one of the elementary particles that make up protons and neutrons in the atomic nucleus. It has opposite electric charge to a down quark and can combine with other quarks to form antimatter particles.
