I believe it's a theme of grief because of the loss of the commander, and there's also the theme of reaping what you sow, as the fairy folk modified Artemis' memory in the end of the third book, yet they need his help during the fourth. Holly is framed and Opal Kobboi is on the loose.
I think the theme is "people can change", because Artemis goes from a cold, heartless figure to someone who cares deeply for the safety of others.
there is a lot but in the opal deceptin and the time paradox its opal koboi
Eoin Colfer said that he was going to write one last book in the Artemis Fowl series. this will be the eighth and the last book in the series. there is no title yet but it will probably be out sometime in 2012. or so I hope.
Opal Tower was created in 2008.
The opal is considered a water stone. Its main symbolic meaning is inspiration, especially inspiration as it applies to being creative. It is also said that the opal can reduce confusion and improve your memory.
It is unlikely that anyone in the world will know since opals have been used for many, many, many years as jewelry and such. I don't know where the oldest opal has been found but some simple research should clear up some misconceptions. DIMC
