Oddly enough, the Alabama board of health left the age part kind of open ended...The minor must be old enough to sign his or her name, stating that they agree to the procedure...Which technically means a five yr. old that can make a check mark and sign his name can have a body art procedure done....I do not believe in this, if you come to my shop you better be at least 15 yrs. of age and have your parent and or legal [court ordered guardian] with you to sign the release form. They do not have to stay while the procedure is done.
