The scabbard is only mentioned in a work sometimes known as the Post-Vulgate Merlin.

It also of course appears in later works that use the Post-Vulgate Merlin such as El Baladro del sabio Merlin and Sir Thomas Malory's Le Morte d'Arthur.

None of these provide a name for the scabbard.
