A popular drawing style would be the Japanese cartoon style called Manga.

The two major drawing styles are Shoujo and Shounen, which are also styles of manga. Shoujo manga are more driven towards girls, and the style that is reltated to it includes more detailed, 'beautiful' drawings. Shounen is more driven towards boys, so the style is more blunt, making it less difficult to draw in action sequences. Popular examples for Shounen are: Naruto, Bleach, Zach Bell, One Piece, and Digimon. Popular examples for Shoujo are: Ouran Highschool Host Club, Wallflower, Fruits Basket, Sailor Moon, and Tokyo Mew Mew (Mew Mew Power)
heintai BUT heintai and manga are VERY DIFFERENT
Drawing or painting a rough outline doesn't really have a specific name, but it is often just called a "rough drawing". Once the rough drawing is drawn, the artist can start drawing more accurately over the rough drawing to create the final product.
not drawing manga... :/
well drawing manga characters is a series of lines and shapes
its anime and manga!!
Not really. It depends on what your perception of manga is.
Shoujo, Yaoi, Seinen, Yuri, etc. But it all depends on the type of manga story you will be drawing. For example, if you happen to be drawing a Shoujo type manga story then you will have to be more detailed especially in expressions.
