Ball formation in a kiln, often referred to as "clinkering," occurs when raw materials, such as limestone and clay, are heated to high temperatures, causing them to partially melt and fuse together. This process creates solid clumps or balls, primarily composed of clinker minerals like alite and belite. Factors influencing ball formation include improper temperature control, excessive feed moisture, and variations in raw material composition. Effective kiln operation and material preparation are crucial to minimize undesirable ball formation and ensure a consistent product.

There is raccu kiln, electrical kiln, and gas kiln.
As a thumb rule the kiln inclination is 3.5% of its length.
I would not suggest it. The oven elements will not get hot enough for kiln work. Since a kiln gets to the temperature of over 1400 degrees, the standard overn elements will not attain that temperature. Invest in standard kiln elements...and a good kiln thermostat.
A periodic kiln is a kiln that is loaded, fired, cooled, and unloaded. A continuos kiln is one where the ware travel through a structure resembling a tube in which there is one section that is continuously being fired and ware is moved through from one end to the other on a rotating basis.
