Humanity is currently self-destructing by it's overuse of carbon for fuel in almost all forms of energy production. The levels of carbon in the atmosphere comes in many forms. The signal for which is the level of carbon dioxide. But this is one of many carbon containing molecules that are oversaturated in our atmosphere, like heavy hydrocarbons and methane.
All of these chemicals are a natural occurance in the atmosphere, but the levels they are at today is extremely high. To the point that if they are to stay on their current trend, then humanity will not be able to survive in the atmosphere resulting from our own output. Specifically, carbon dioxide will raise the temperature a few degree per year, which will fuel hurricanes and monsoons across the continents; heavy hydrocarbons are a toxin and will cause massive heath problems across the human body; and methane also a toxin that can cause organ failure and poison our blood.
Because it is humanity's overproduction of combustible fuels that is driving these negative effects on earth, it is our role to stop using as many carbon based fuels as we can. This includes using wind, water and nuclear power safely. Stopping the use of carbon fuels in our cars and homes directly by transistioning to a new fuel souce like batteries or hydrogen.
Major, and almost always destructive.
Gaia. Perhaps "ecosystems" is the best answer.
To sustain life, a planet must have oxygen and a variety of gases, plant life, strong enough gravity and enough clean water.
Tree is put in soil. Soil helps sustain tree's life.
Up to now, Earth is the only planet in our solar system that can sustain life as we know it.
i dont know dhiss shidd mane..........................
ewan
They are the main cause of destruction and they are the only one to stop it by doing good things that cannot harm the life of the earth
ONLY up to a Point.
It's ability to sustain life - despite the vast size of the universe, so far earth is the only planet with the ability to sustain life
the heat and pressure in the interior is not designed to sustain human life
1- Global Warming 2- Pollution
Carrying capacity is the term used to describe population growth being at a level that cannot sustain more growth because resources needed to sustain life are not enough.
Gaia. Perhaps "ecosystems" is the best answer.
No Jupiter doesn't sustain life.
Soils sustain life by using organic material for nutreints.
it is the right distance from the sun. If Earth was closer or further from the sun, we would either burn up or freeze to death.
If not, then you must be dead, but so would I. So then I wouldn't be answering this question, so that is how to derive that earth definitely, without a doubt supports life (Unless we are all zombies)!
