All motors have different settings and not all motors are adjustable, some are fixed.
You don't. The rocker arm assemblies just bolt down, the hydraulic lifters self adjust. If the valves are clacking, something in the valve train is worn out.
The valves on a Ford 300 straight six are not adjustable. If they are noisy you have worn valve train parts.
Tighten rocker arm down to 35 lbs of torque and your all done. These lifters are hydraulic and self adjusting. If you still have valve clatter, you have worn valve train parts.
You bleed the skave cylinder just like your brakes. Pump a few times hold and open the bleeder valve and repeat.
The timing chain on an Intruder 800 should adjust itself. If this isn't happening, I think you MAY be able to access the adjuster by taking the valve/rocker cover off and seeing if the tensioner is up to full stretch or is not working. If it won't adjust any further and take anymore play out of the chain, it's possible that your chain has stretched over time and needs replacing.

As you don't specify the exact model and year then the answer can only be tentative. You could try to adjust the valves to .003" or .002" if the current valve settings are not far from that value.
To adjust valve clearance 6he1 just follow the instructions on the users manual.
