This will depend on the age of the machine, the type or model and the shape that the machine is in. Most people asking this question are referring to the old tredel-type machines. Many were made, most are still around. When I had mine apprased the value was $300. Mine is in excellent shape, still works great and has all the accessories.

I'm sorry that I don't have a pat answer to this question, but perhaps this might help. I have my grandmother's Singer sewing machine with a manufacture date of 1924. It is now listed at the Smithsonian Institute and worth a bundle. Your machine is just two years older and has the ease of being portable, which was extremely rare for that era. I just saw one of similar style offered on eBay for $85.00 (7/11/2010). How much yours is worth will depend on its condition.

The price varies any where from $175-$250 based on the condition of your item and if it works when plugged in or cranked.
