The treatment of RA is done with anti-inflammatory or disease modifying drugs when RA is active esr as a result of the inflammation goes up Ra is a Autoimmune disease. High uric acid on the other hand is a disease that is the result of too much uric acid which is the result of the body's metabolising purines which come from the nucleus of living cells. I would say that if a patient is suffering from gout and RA at the same time the treatment would involve a low purine diet, disease modifying drugs such as methotrexate and anti-inflammatory. the anti-inflammatory will help both the inflammation from the gout and from the RA. you should do this through a doctor as the blood needs to be tested for toxicity

Can Spina Bifida cause rheumatoid arthritis?

The exact cause for Rheumatoid arthritisis not known however there seems to be no known connection between Spina Bifida and Rheumatoid arthritis. Sea foods are definitely not recommended in the case of gouty arthritis as they are high in purines and produce uric acid in the blood. However there is no medical evidence that it does any harm in the case of either osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis.

Why Uric acid level high but RF test negative?

There are many reasons why you may have high uric acid levels in your blood. Uric acid is a chemical substance produced by the body as a result of eating foods that contain purines. raised uric acid can lead to the formation if uric acid crystals forming in the blood , leading to gouty arthritis's. However RF (rheumatoid factor) is an indicator that you may have the autoimmune disease Rheumatoid arthritis or one of several other autoimmune diseases and while both gout and Rheumatoid authorise are called arthritis they are completely different diseases.
