light and heat(i heard some1 say radiation 1ce but i dont think its true)
The Earth's internal heat comes from a combination of residual heat from planetary accretion (about 20%) and heat produced through radioactive decay (80%).
We can take advantage of the heat in the interior of the Earth. The heat is the result of radioactive decay in the interior of the Earth.
yes
If we did not live on the outer layer of the Earth also known as the crust we would burn to death because it is so hot down below because the core of the Earth is so hot
Earth's molten outer core rotates. That outer core is made up mostly of molten iron. The movement of the molten iron produces the magnetic field. When currents in the outer core force the solid inner core to spin at a slightly faster rate than the rest of the planet causes the Earth to have a magnetic field.
Pressure is the weight of an overlying column of material. The pressure at the core comes from 6400km of overlying rock, which is much denser than air
That deppends... if you mean the atmosphere which would equal zero gravity than yes but the earths gravitational pull is what keeps the moon where it is so the planes or helicopters wouldn't be able to get completely out of the pull
no the core of the earth is not solid its pretty much a liquid, since the middle of the earth is so hot, the core is like a lava substance.
1. we would never be able to get down to the bottom to the core because we dont have the machineary and if we got past the earths crust hot molten lava would pour out and destroy the country. 2. if we mined the earths core it would be so hot no thing could survive it and we couldn't mine it because it is extremely hard
because most scientist believe that earths core will get so hot that every volcano will explode and cover the whole world with lauve.
The inside of the Earth has four different layers. The core is the earths heat source, a ball of lava. then there is the outer core, a bit cooler. finally comes another layer of mantle and then the crust (which is the land we walk on).
Sorry. The earths core reminds me of an apple. So here goes. In the center of the apple, there is a core, and that is the hardest a biggest part. So that is the earths core. The crust is the skin of the apple, and that is also the thinnest. The rest is the outer core and mantle.
So far as science can deduce, it must be a solid.
iron and nickel is the answer and so is the inner core. the inner and the outer and together but the outer core is liquid and the inner core is solid
Because the gravity is pushing the core together more so its more dense.
The outer core is a layer of the Earth, the second to last layer. It creates the Earths Magnetic field by moving around the inner core. There are two metals that make up the outer core, these two metals are iron and nickel. The inner core is so hot that it melts the nickel and iron turning it into liquid magma.
It's called the P- Wave
Because, there is so much pressure the core get's extremly hot, and there is lava, and sometimes its yellow.
First: The earths core is not molten, it is a very dense solid mass, kept solid by the intense pressure on it. Second: It is the layer around this core that is molten, and yes it does influence gravity, but more so earths magnetism.
