The veins responsible for returning blood to the heart are the Superior and Inferior Vena Cava. Arteries send blood away from the heart, going from Arteries to Arterioles to Capillaries, then the return is from Capillaries to Venules to Veins. The Superior and Inferior Vena Cava are the veins that send blood to the right atrium after an entire blood circulation cycle.

Which artery connects heart to arm directly?

The coronary arteries are responsible for carrying oxygen-rich blood to the heart. However, most oxygen-rich blood is being carried away from the heart, meaning that most arteries are not carrying blood into the heart at all. Veins are responsible for carrying de-oxygenated blood towards the heart so that their oxygen supply can be replenished in the lungs. The two veins which actually enter the heart are the superior vena cava or the precava which carries blood from the upper half of the body into the heart and the inferior vena cava(IVC), also known as the posterior vena cava, which carries blood from the lower half of the body into the heart.

What returns oxygen-poor blood to the heart?

Yes, the blood from the lungs is rich in oxygen. Since you breathe in oxygen and nutrients through your nose/mouth to the lungs, the oxygen and nutrients are absorbed in the lungs and go through the blood stream into the heart
