Theoretically it should stay mixed when the proportions are correct. An even balance of lavender and tea tree oil will allow the oils to blend evenly.
Only if the urethane paint is not waterbased... Urethane Paint cannot be mixed with anything except other Urethane products. Urethane Paints do not work on the same principals as "oil based" paints. Oil Based Paints rely on evaporation to dry. Urethane cures. by chemical reaction.
Of the two paints you are going to try mixing, a water based paint (latex), with a spirit based (possibly methalated) . Not a good idea as they will separate. DO NOT MIX! On the containers for these paints you will be told how to wash your brushes ie.. Water for Latex. Turpintine, or Varsol for the Oil based paints and stains. Again, Oil and Water do NOT MIX!!!
