Complicated question. The sun doesn't move, as such, but it kind of wobbles a bit as the planets revolve around it. Only Jupiter has the sun wobble outside of it's own surface, so the wobble isn't much, either.

I can assume that you may be referring to the earth's movement around the sun. In that case the earth is closer to the sun (perihelion) when it is winter in the northern latitudes, so it would move quicker, slower when the earth is at aphelion, in the northern hemisphere's summer.

Does the earth move at a constant rate around the sun?

No. Earth moves in an ellipse around the Sun; when it is closest to the Sun (at its periapsis, in January), it moves faster, and when it is furthest from the Sun (at its apapsis), it moves slower.

How does the eath moves around the sun and how does this affect th season?

the sun moves around the eath not the eath moves around the sun by falaby66

Does earth move faster or slower when in an elliptical orbit?

Slower or faster than what? - When the Earth is nearer the Sun (periapsis), it moves faster than when it is farther away from the Sun (apapsis).

Kepler's Law implies that a planet inorbit about the Sun moves faster when it is closer to the Sun and slower when it is farther away?

Which planet moves the most slowly in its orbit?

Of the major planets, Neptune. The speed of planets in their orbits is directly related to their distance from the sun. The farther a planet is from the Sun, the slower its orbital speed.

How does the distance from the sun of a planet affect the planet’s orbitalvelocity?

A planet's orbital speed changes, depending on how far it is from the Sun. The closer a planet is to the Sun, the stronger the Sun's gravitational pull on it, and the faster the planet moves. The farther it is from the Sun, the weaker the Sun's gravitational pull, and the slower it moves in its orbit.

In what month do the earth move faster around the sun December or June?

The Earth moves faster around the sun in January when it is closest to the sun in its orbit (perihelion) and slower in July when it is farthest from the sun (aphelion). Therefore, it moves faster in December than in June.

When Neptune orbits around the Sun is it faster or slower than earth?

Neptune moves more slowly than Earth. The farther a planet is from the Sun, the longer its orbit. But the lesser gravity of the Sun at longer distances means that the planets also do not need to move as rapidly in their orbits. A planet farther from the Sun moves more slowly than one closer to the Sun.

Why is Jupiter moving slower than earth around the sun shouldn't farther from the sun and heavier than the earth mean faster?

Jupiter moves slower than earth around the sun because the distance between the them is much farther than earth's distance to the sun. Gravity has a stronger pull on earth because gravity depends on the masses and the distance between the objects. (Sun)---->Earth (Sun)---- - - - - - - ->Jupiter

What planet moves around sun the slowest?

Neptune would move the slowest. The orbit speed is related to the distant the planets are to the sun. Farther the planet, slower the pace. Remember, Pluto is no longer a planet.

What makes light move slower as it travels?

it moves slower because of sudden movement

How shadows change every season?

As the Earth moves around the sun, the sun appears at different elevations in the sky, so your shadow is cast longer, or shorter.
