Well, in 2001 most Ford F-150's came OE with P265/70R17 Of course you can look in your owners manual or on the drivers side door jam to confirm the size. Hope this helped you. COO of TireTyre.com
Not very fast at all because of all of the weight but the 150 pounds would almost even it out.
In once saw one on a CRV that went around the tire - rather than through the middle, but didn't see what brand it was - sorry.
Proper Tire pressures for Your vehicle should be listed on the door jamb on the Drivers side of your vehicle..the listing for the Max pressure your tire will hold is listed on the sidewall of the tires. but is NOt the same as the recommended pressure for Your vehicle..YOu Always go with the one thats listed on the car..Not the tire..(Personally i find you get a smoother ride if you run the tires a cpl pounds lighter.. say 2-3lbs less..esp in trucks.)
NO, it will leak air and can go down very suddenly sometimes. -VERY bad idea.
Big Boys Playground in Harrisonburg allows off-road go-karts, like the Hammerhead GTS-150.
About 55-60 the most
if you have to ask ...go to a tire shop
Goodyear Retailer sells most tire sizes- Most likely, they do sell your tire size. You can go on their website and type in your tire size to see! They seem to carry quite a lot.
Never go by the tire pressure on the tire. That is only the maximum amount. Always go by the tire placard on the inside driverside door frame.
Look inside the door jam. It will tell you tire sizes.
One can find a tire size chart online in tire manufacturer websites or tire selling company websites. In addition, one can go to a near car parts seller store and see tire sizes in a chart.
Assuming you are using the same 17" wheels if you want to go with a 70 series tire then get 195/70-17. If you want to go with a 60 series tire then get a 235/60-17 which are both good swaps.
you dont need to worry about gear ratio if you go to a larger tire depending on how big on my 2001 ram 1500 i can go from stock 245/75/16 up to 285/75/16 just need to reset the speedometer with dealer scanner that way you wont affect the configuration of your computer
It is behind the spare tire. . . go figure.
With no modifications, I wouldn't go any bigger than 32x10.5
my tire sizes for my cougar are P215/50R16 or go here so you can find your size http://www.dragtimes.com/Mercury-Cougar-Tires-m31-n237.html
