What can you add to pink icing to make it green?

The colours which are required to create green are blue and yellow, so technically you cannot create green from pink as pink is created from red and white, as adding blue and yellow to red would create brown or black. However, if you add a surplus amount of blue and green to pink icing, it should eventually become green if the amounts of blue and yellow out weight the amount of red dye used.

What color do you use to make shadows in the color pink?

To add shadow in areas of pink, start with the pink and add:1) a bit more red - this will result in a darker pink and work for very lightly shaded areas.2) a bit of purple - this will darken the pink further but still keep it mostly pink, it will create a "cooler" pink to use in the intermediary areas.3) a bit of green - this will result in a "greyed" pink or grey, and can be used in areas where shadows are getting darker.4) more green - this will result in a darker grey that works well with your pink.Mixing red (the red you used to achieve your pink) and dark green (1 to 1) you will get a colour that is almost black, this can be used in the deepest shadows.
