need to be more specific. what model chevy?
the switch is on the left hand side of the transmission about half way back of the transmission. it has two wires that plug into it.
One would be for the A/C compressor clutch relay, another would be the high speed function for the HVAC blower motor, not sure about the other two.
The transmission would have to be removed, which is a really big job
Yes it does! It's on top of the tansaxle, driver side. It has a 13mm nut holding it on and a shaft coming out of the front end.
NO
A four speed automatic transinission is in a 1997 Chevy lumina
Mercon works.
The right side of the tail end of the transmission.
it should be the 700r4 4 speed auto no 4l60 or 4l80
yes
That would be a 4L60E transmission.
The 1997 version has the 4T60e transmission
That would be a 4L80E
where is the transmission censor located on a 1997 Chevy cheyenne truck
That would be the 4L80E transmission.
The Z24 has overdrive, the base models are 3 speed autos
The same thing happened to my dads 96 Chevy S-10. The transmission was rusted not allowing it to shift. I would have the transmission checked out.
