In the 2008 movie Doubt, Meryl Streep plays the nun, Sister Aloysius. Streep portrays a strict principle of a school attached to a Catholic Church in Bronx, New York.

The movie with Meryl Streep and Albert Brooks was called Defending Your Life and it came out in 1991. It's about waiting in Judgement City...where you must go before a court to see if you can go on to Heaven. Albert Brooks is one of the funniest guys in movies and this was a very good movie. If you haven't seen it, rent it!

No, it was strictly a work of fiction, first a best selling novel by Robert James Waller (New York Times best seller for 150 weeks straight). And of course later made in to the well known movie with Ctint Eastwood and Meryl Streep.

In the movie "It's Complicated," Meryl Streep's character, Jane Adler, drives a vintage 1970s Mercedes-Benz 280SL convertible. The car serves as a symbol of her character's independent spirit and nostalgia, reflecting her life and the choices she makes throughout the film.
Meryl Streep's mother's name is: Mary Wilkinson, later renamed (unknown to me as to why) Mary Wolf, father: Harry William Streep Jr
