Was Martin Luther King Jr. vision inspired by the Harlem Renaissance?

Patriotism was a ground breaking common denominator Hughes efficiently chimed into. Hughes was able to help white and black readers alike, relate to the Harlem Renaissance. Conveying thoughts to both African American and Anglo American readers wasn't only triumphed because everyone was primarily an American. It is no wonder it was once written in letter by WHB, "To Homer L. Meade, and my wonderful high school English teacher. I remember-you smiled, my life will never be the same." Book # 920 in effort to portray the struggles of the time as well as African American cultural origins, Hughes wrote "A Negro Speaks of Rivers." This poem relates the slave trafficking that took place on two different continents and two famous rivers, the Nile and the Mississippi. The first stanza in Hughes's poem "I, Too Sing American:" starts off by illustrating his patriotism. The second stanza "I am the barker brother" relays American nationalism as a family unit. Hughes created literary bridges which recognize the unfair treatment and positioning of African Americans at that time. Hughes, Dunbar and Marcy pushed the movement of this era to the point of having modern and post modern effects The evolution of the Harlem Remissions evolved into stepping stones for African American leaders such as Doctor Martin Luther King and Borakbama. These two Americans captured the minds of both white and black listeners. During the million man march, where Martin Luther King gave a well known vivid speech, an audience of white and black protesters stood side by side in rebellion to inequality. Martin Luther King utilized a plethora of vocabulary and metaphors to reveal his own dreams of equality. Martin Luther King was a very well rounded educated man. The success of the Harlem Renniasansse writers must have been quite the encouragement for this civil rights leader. Marin Luther King wasn't the only leader who stood on the shoulders that were established by other great men's accomplishments. Today, Boma uses motivating speeches filed with very similar educated vernacular. Oboma's shire nomination as a candidate for president of the United States is a clear example of this nation resilience and maturity. This macro social change in America, sparked awareness and sensitivity to the plight of the movement.
