if a spartan boys was caught stealing he would get in trouble. he would not get in trouble for stealing but for getting caught. Spartans were taught to be strong and clever thinkers since the time they were Young.
For getting caught stealing (note that it is not the stealing they punished, but the 'getting caught' part) and for similar reasons to it.
In ancient Sparta, if parents were caught stealing a sick newborn, they would face severe punishment. The Spartan society prioritized the health and strength of its citizens, and any action that compromised the community's ideals was taken very seriously. Such parents might be subjected to public humiliation or exile, as their actions would be seen as a betrayal of Spartan values. Ultimately, the focus on communal welfare over individual rights meant that any perceived weakness was harshly dealt with to maintain the strength of the state.
this is a bad question. better yet a spartan phrase is "return with this or upon this" they were taken from their families at age 7. had one article of clothing. were taught to steal food. if they were caught stealing they were whipped to teach them to steal better. they had no shoes. at age 20 they would HAVE to have a relationship with another male so that it would improve their masculinity. spartans would train the way they would fight in a battle. they fought to the death.
You'd be arrested for receiving stolen property, but if you didn't give the cops the name of the person who stole it you'd be charged with stealing it yourself.
It depends on what stage of their Spartan life you are referring to. I have read that during their early years, during military training, that spartan boys were sometimes fed pig fat and pig blood. The idea was that if you could stomach anything you would have a better chance of surviving. It also encouraged the boys/trainees to steal food. When caught they were punished not for stealing but for being caught. Again it was meant to ensure their survival. Once they graduated or became men I believe they could eat anything, but their diet was still somewhat limited. Because Sparta discouraged trading there would have been little exotic foods. The diet would of consisted of whatever the Helots, the Spartan agricultural slaves, grew. Which would have been whatever was native to southern Greece. Sorry, I can't be more specific.

Athens was very far from Sparta, there would not be any Spartan boys there.
i anyone were to get caught stealing a 59.00 video game you would probably go to jail for stealing and you might have to pay charges.

Yes.
Those caught stealing from the Incas could face severe punishments such as death, enslavement, or harsh physical punishments. The Incas enforced strict laws to protect their property and resources.
They would be KILLED
Why do you want to know what would happen if you are caught with brass knuckles ( suspicious) and why would you want to go or live in the UK? lol
