Ïf you don't use base coat the top might either not stick properly, or it might not cover properly.

If you put the base coat on the top coat you won't get the gloss and maybe not even the color that you intended.

Should you use the water base or solvent of chimney saver to waterproof a chimney?

Water based would clean up easier and would emit less VOCs than solvent base; solvent base would probably last longer. I'd go with the water base.

Can you paint acrylic enamel paint over base coat paint?

If the base coat used in your project is water base then yes, you bet you can. If there is any chance that the base coat used was an oil base paint then you cannot paint directly over it. The acrylic enamel will not adhere to the oil base paint and will begin to peel off as soon as it is dry. In which case a coat of primer is in order.

What is the basic unit of weight in the metric system?

Note that weight actually refers to force exerted due to the acceleration of gravity and the mass of an object. It is commonplace to see the terms weight and mass used interchangeably, though. The SI base unit of mass is the kilogram. The original metric system specified the gram as the base mass unit. The SI base unit of force, which technically would be the correct unit of weight is the Newton (kg*m/s2). The dyne is another 'metric' unit of force (g*cm/s2).

What is the Paint base difference Benjamin Moore base 1 base 2?

The difference between Base 1X and Base 2X in Benjamin Moore is simply the amount of room in the can for tint. A Base 1X can only has room available for 4 ounces of tint, while the Base 2X has room available for 8 ounces of tint. Oddly enough, the amount of room available does not increase consistently by 4. A Base 3X has 16 ounces of room available, and a Base 4X only has 13 ounces of room available. That may be because a color that uses a 3X base still needs a significant amount of white tint in order to achieve the desired hue, a 4X base will usually not need that.

How can the genetic code of DNA get mixed up like the a base is not with t base but instead something like the c base?

there is a very slim chance of this occuring, but if this was to happen, a complexed protein would come along the phosphate (the backbone) and put the base back into order. when the protein misses the base, which doesnt happen often, this is what causes complications such as cancer.
