A helicopter, a submarine, a battle tank, a gear driven cart, a multiple firing cannon array, and siege engines.
Leonardo da Vinci experienced multiple problems throughout his life and with his work. Arguably, the largest was the fear of people taking and copying his work. This is the only problem that actually caused da Vinci to alter his works. If a person were to construct many of da Vinci's designs, they would not work properly because a minor alteration had been made in the sketched plan, such as the reversal of a gear. This is thought to be a fail safe to prevent copies. No other problems caused da Vinci to actually alter his work.
Yes, Leonardo da Vinci designed the tank among many other things he also designed such as: Diving Gear, Hand Glider, Parachute, a rough sketch of the helicopter, rough sketch of the bicycle. However, people didn't really pay attention to Leonardo's notebooks until much later. So when people finally started to really look into his notebooks, centuries after he died, all of those inventions above, were invented (again) by different people. So even thought Leonardo was the first person to design those things, he is not the person who takes the credit for being the inventor of any of those items because no one knew about it!
His idea was to create a form for diving. It was an idea and a drawing that never was made. He did this with thousands of things. He kept notebooks all of his life where he would pose questions, draw ideas, and think of solutions to things. Many of the notes still exist.
most of his inventions have stayed around like the parachute, the hand glider, the army tank, the submarine, diving gear, and the bicycle, ect. He also did many works of art, such as the Mona Lisa, and more or less, the Last Supper.
The first gear-cutting mechanism was designed by Leonardo da Vinci. However, no evidence indicates that it was ever built.
Attached to a gear are many tires. The tires are used the land the aeroplane. That is why it is called landing gear.
On the Landing gear
It is just called 'landing gear'

All of the landing gear on the particular aircraft.
A Boeing 767 aircraft has a total of 10 wheels. Two on the front landing gear, 4 on each of the two main landing gear.
A belly landing is a landing of an aircraft without the landing gear being deployed.

The plane's landing gear is deployed as the plane is descending and nearing the runway.
