Arthrpoda has an extinct class Marrellomorpha and an the extinct Trilobite subphylum. The order Eurypterida (eurypterids) or sea scorpions, related to arachnids are also extinct. They may have been the largest arthropods to have ever lived.
Trilobites are an entire extinct class. Within the arachnid class, eurypterids (giant sea scorpions) have been gone since the Devonian, and a little while later in the insect class griffinflies (giant dragonflies such as Meganeura) followed suit. That's the most prominent vanished groups. :)
Arthropods did not go extinct. There are more arthopods living on the face of the earth today than any other type of creature. So they are the most successful creatures ever lived!
Yes, the lobster is an arthropod. In fact, the American lobster is currently the heaviest living arthropod (not counting extinct arthropods).
no, i dont know what they are, but they are not arthropods
NO. Arthropods do not have a 4 chambered hearts.
Do arthropods have backbones? No, it is the exoskeleton that holds the arthropod's body together. arthropods are invertebrates, which means they do not have backbones.
Yes, all arthropods have brains.
Trilobites, and eurypterids (giant marine scorpions). Ammonites are not arthropods but molluscs.
The arthropods are far from extinct. They are one of the largest groups of animals, and include about anything with an exoskeleton. Insects, spiders, crabs, lobsters, crayfish, beetles (which are insects), scorpions, and so on.
Yes, Opabinia are classified as arthropods, although the genus is extinct.

Arthropods
Why did the dinosaurs go extinct? Humans will never go extinct!
A live anthropod would be any non-dead human. Anthropods (bipedal humans or humanoids) should not be confused with arthropods; Arthropods are characterized by segmented bodies, an exoskeleton made from chitin, and joint appendages. Some arthropods are no longer living (extinct), like trilobites and the class Marrellomorpha.
Missouri is a state - it is not a living thing so it cannot go extinct.
they are not extinct yet.
They are not extinct...

It has NEVER been extinct.
