At sundown.
The theme is the last meal, the Passover meal, that Jesus shared with his disciples before being arrested.
There is no historical evidence to suggest that a menorah was present at the Last Supper. The Last Supper, as described in the New Testament, was a Passover meal, and while a menorah is a significant symbol in Jewish tradition, it is primarily associated with the festival of Hanukkah rather than Passover. The setting for the Last Supper would have more likely included typical Jewish tableware of the time rather than a menorah.
Jesus fulfilled the Passover as was given to Moses as an example of His coming. For some Christians, Passover is a memorial of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, "our Passover" which made possible the forgiveness of our sins.
There are a number of traditional songs with their ancient melodies. They are sung without musical instruments. These include Chad Gadya, Adir Hu, Adir Bimlukhah, Echad Mi Yodea, Dayenu, Ki Lo Yaeh, Vehi She'amdah, and a few others. The words to these are in the text of the Passover Hagadah, which recounts the Exodus. See also:More about the Passover Seder
The Israelis do not celebrate the last supper. The Jews celebrate Passover. At Passover, they set an extra place at the table for an unexpected guest. It will have a glass of wine. There will be a piece of unleavened bread or Matzoh. It is hard as a rock. At least it is thin. If you have a Jewish friend or know a Jewish family, you will be welcome if you drop in for the Passover meal. You may use the empty chair and join the Passover meal. It might be the only time of the year you are welcome to drop in unannounced and eat.
The Passover celebration commemorates the flight from Egypt. There was no Passover meal before the flight.

Mashed potatoes needs no special ingredients for Passover although they will need to be prepared in a Passover bowl with Passover utensils and without the addition of baking powder. Simply boil and mash the potatoes with milk and butter if having a milk meal or use dairy free margarine and no milk for a meat meal.
