In this age of computers one might think the sketch is no longer used. All of the best designers begin here, with sketches. They are still the best way to work through ideas and concepts. As a student I had a graphic design professor who wanted to see at least fifty sketches for each design project. Amazingly, as one works through this number of sketches, fresh new ideas and solutions come to light.
