Under the hood you will see 2 cables comming from the throttle body. one is the foot pedal the other leads to the cruise control module. That is it! The cruise control unit is located inside the left front fender. You have to remove the wheel and wheel well liner to access it.

Remove the retaining ring, from the top of your 1997 Ford Astro ignition lock cylinder. Remove the wiring harness from the back of the ignition lock cylinder.
Ignition control module.. located under the distributor The distributor cap is probably cracked and moisture is getting into it. Replace the cap .

The only way I can explain it is to follow the wiring from your coil pack (where the spark plugs are) and the wires plug into the ignition module.
