The Feast at Lele and the Old Lahaina Luau are often referred to as the best luaus in Maui. Both of these are run by the same company and provide a top quality luau show. The Old Lahaina Luau is the most traditional luau of the two and therefore does not have a fire dancer. The Feast at Lele is unique in that rather than serve a buffet meal like the other Maui luaus, they serve a multi-course gourmet meal directly to your private table. There is a fire dancer at the Feast at Lele.
the next time you observe fireworks, put attention to all the colors you see. There will allways be some green for variation. The answer is yes. It is the add mix of copper to the fire which causes the green colour.

The first recorded event of "Fireworks" being used in an Independence day (July 4th) Celebration was in 1777. (see link)
Thomas Jefferson (who wrote that the Declaration of Independence in 1776) said that the date should be celebrated with fireworks. So I would think fireworks were first used in July 4 1776 or so after the first Independence day.
"Its broad daylight on the 4th of July so they dont do a fireworks display because you couldent see it and it would be a waste of money" --actually they do fireworks at the UAF campus and I do believe at Alaska Land (pioneer park) as well.

You can do anything on the 4th of July. But people mostly have a BBQ, have a party, Go see entire family, hang out with friends. Whats most common is every night on 4th of July people have fireworks to celebrate Independence day. WhichI may add are mostly illegal, but the best ones to hehe. Which we are celebrating America!
