No way to answer that specifically without knowing where you live. Your best bet would be to visit each shop and ask. While you're there, ask them if they use an autoclave. Also, just take a look around while talking to them and get an idea of the cleaning practices there ( is the floor clean, do they wear gloves, do the piercers themselves look hygienic). Most legit shops smell really clean, like hospitals. APP certification is an indicator of a reputable shop but not all good piercers have APP certification.

How can society get businesses to not see tattoos and piercings as unprofessional?

This is going to be tough, as most countries still view such things as unprofessional. It's going to be a long time before this changes, I'm afraid. The vast majority of people still associate tattoos and piercings with "low class" people, even though many professionals nowadays do have tatts and piercings. The best way for employees to handle it is just to cover up the tattoos and remove the hardware before work or cover the piercings if possible.

What are some jobs that don't mind piercings or body mods?

Well there are a few out there, ultimately it depends on what you want to do. You can almost assure that any some places that deal with the public may have an issue with piercings. Restaurants and some food service businesses can make piercings an issue, however most large chain* firms don't make an issue out of piercings ( *legal issue they don't want to deal with) , they leave that for area reps* to complain about ( *they are easy to replace and blame should a rights issue be launched ). It comes down to common sense, so long as your piercings are clean and tasteful and not too "out there" most employers are willing to allow them. Like tattoos there is still a little stereo typing that goes on and this needs to be brought to the attention of the general public.

Why shouldn't you have tattoos at job?

The more a job requires interaction with the public and making good impressions, the less likely that visible tatoos and piercings will be allowed. You will find that most customer service jobs, education related jobs and office jobs do not allow visible tattoos and piercings, however some are allowing ones that are not considered to be distracting or offensive.

Do third hole piercings hurt?

i actually just got mine done at my friends house, she did it for me, its the same as a second whole piercing because it is still in the lobe area, but my ears are really small so it almost touches my cartilage so it pinches a lil... hope this helps:)

What is a lip ring called?

I think what you're meaning to ask is about the different names for the placement of the piercings. For example, a labret is typically in the center of the lip, snakebites are a piercing on both sides of the lower lip, spider bites are two piercings on one side of the lip, etc. I hope that helps you. If you still have more questions feel free to ask me. c:

Can you get addicted to piercings?

* Of course you can. You can get addicted to anything you enjoy doing. But remember that you do not want to go overboard, you want to have piercings but still look like a human being. The goal is not to see "how many piercings can I fit on my body?", your goal is to express yourself through body art. Good luck! :) * Yep, you can. I'm 15 & have 6 piercings & will have my 7th done tomorrow. But they is right, your goal is to express yourself not to see how many piercings fit on your body.

Is 9 too young to get your ears pierced twice on one ear?

Personally, I feel that if the 9 year old is able and willing to clean the piercings themselves, its fine. Of course, its still a good idea to remind them about cleaning and make sure they're doing it right.
