Where do you find the mushrooms in Kingdom Hearts?

Mushrooms may refer to either (a.) An item that must be collected at the start of the first Kingdom Hearts, (b.) White Mushrooms, (c.) Black Fungus, or (d.) Rare Truffles.

(a.) If you're referring to the item that Kairi asks you to find, simply check by the bridge, behind all of the boulders and in the Secret Place.

(b.) If you're referring to White Mushrooms, then here is a chart to locate them:

assuming it's a white mushroom, you would use the spells that would accommodate it. If you have trouble or are to lazy to figure it out yourself here is a list. If you have an upgrade of the spell that works the same, for example, fira, firaga, thundara, thundaga.

Shivers: Cast Fire

Light Appears Over It's Head: Cast Thunder

Faints: Cast Cure

Fans Itself: Cast Blizzard

Spins Around: Aero

Stops moving: Stop

Floats: Cast Gravity

If you cast the right spell 3 times in a row you get an item and a lot of MP bubbles. However if you are talking about black mushrooms, just stay away from them until they turn light gray. Then go up and hit them until they turn back and then run away. Continue to repeat the process and they will eventually die. P.S. when they're gray they can still attack.

The mushrooms are either in the secret place, or in the bush near the base of the zip-line tower.
