I think it is under the back seat. My car had a problem and the petrol was cut off and the breakdown bloke said it also affected the crank sensor. I am sure the garage said they did something under the back seat.

I have a Saturn 2001 300 L . The lights on the inside of car wont work.
The crank position sensor is located on the bottom left hand side of the engine (when seated in the driver's seat). It is secured in place by two (2) 10mm screws above and to the right of the crank shaft main pulley.
That is a little expensive, around $400 should be accurate, it also depends on where you are located.
It just cost me $735 from a mechanic I have always trusted. I have a 2001 L300.
The fuel pump is mounted to the fuel tank. It sits on top with the bulk of the pump inside the tank. According to the manual it can be a tricky dance to maneuver the pump out of the tank.
