The fuel filter is under the back seat. It's only a $5-10 part and is really easy to replace. When you lift up the back seat on the passenger side you will be able to see the filter and the pump. There are 2 quick-connects and an electrical connection. Before you disconnect anything, pull the fuel fuse out of the fuse box and crank the engine a couple times to relieve the pressure. Then disconnect the battery and replace filter. Hook battery back up and replace fuse. It will take a little longer than normal to start the car the first time until the fuel pressure builds back up. This is normal.
