The fuse box is located behind the plastic panel or councole, on the left lower side of the steering column. Remove the two screws at the lower end of the dash and pull the lower steering panel cover off. Again The fuse panel will be behind this at the lower left. The panel you are removing is the same color as your dash board or counsole. It had taken me awhile to find it also. The local Ford garage could not even tell me on the phone where it was. They just said under the dash. Well you have to remove the panel. very easy just a pain.

ive found the fuse box in my 1988 marquis behind the plastic under the steering wheel, at the bottom there is 2 plastic Philips screws, give them both half a turn, pop it out and there it is, but where do u find a diagram for the box at?
In the fuse box. Take the bolts and wiring loose from the rear fo the radio under the dash. Then pull off the knobs and remove the nuts under there and work it out .
