IF ITS THE SAME AS F350 THERE IS A CANISTER UNDER THE HOOD..I THINK TO THE LEFT SIDE LOOKING AT ENGINE...IT TAKES A CARTRIDGE STYLE ......BLACK CANISTER WITH A NUT TYPE FITTING ON IT
Depends on the year or type of diesel engine. The older engines had a cannister filter whilst the latest Tdci has a replaceable paper element.

If you cannot see a leak on the ground under the truck (and you should with this much oil) it sounds like the piston rings are pretty well worn out.
If its a Diesel, 3.8 litres with new filter.
Use water pump pliers, they fit almost all oil filters.

on top of the engine there is to caps its the larger of the two the smaller one is the secondary fuel filter. Remove the cap the oil filter is inside.
