Hey Tanya==It is on the lower left of the engine. If you have to ask, I suggest you let someone diagnoise and repair your truck that knows what they are doing as a lot of times you will do more damage than good. GoodluckJoe
follow the big red wire from battery it goes right to you starter and make sure you disconnect the battery before you go ripping it out, there is no relay on a chevy. it is on the pass. side of the engine on the bottom side.
The starter is going to be on the right side of the bellhousing. where te hengine and the transmission meet. It will be held in place by two bolts. Before you go messing with it make sure the battery is disconnected. Do remember that if the vehicle has a theftlock radio it needs to be disable before diconnecting the battery. Tizo
on the back side of the motor
Is it a RS or LS? Mine is on the front, close to the radiator, on the underside of the car. Thank god if I need to ever replace it I don't have to remove a bunch of crap to get to it.
on a 1993 suburban, the starter solenoid is mounted on the starter motor, on the right side of the engine, under the truck, if you follow the red battery cable, the other end will attach to the solenoid
If you lay down under the back of the passerger side front wheel and look up at your side of the engine, you will see the starter bolted beside the oil pan. It will be all the way towards the back of the engine.
I change my own oil on my 1997 venture. The starter is right next to the oil filter which is on the lower front side of the engine. It is pretty much in line with the hood latch.
On the driver side of the block
It depends on which engine you have. Just follow the positive battery cable from the battery, the other end will be attached to the starter.
It is on the right side (passenger) of the engine below the exhaust manifold.
The starter for a 2000 Venture is near the front of the engine almost in line with the hood latch. Look just above the front cross member adjacent to the oil filter.
Dead battery? Loose or dirty battery cables? Bad starter solenoid? Bad starter? Neutral switch?
Your vehicle has a starter solenoid which is piggy back on the starter.
