You can catch palkia in the spear pillar after you beat Candice and then go to the galatic HQ in veilstone city. Diagla isn't available in pearl. If you buy diamond you will be able to get dialga but not palkia. Sorry.

2. Go to Celestic town and talk to Cynthias grandmother
3. Go to Mt. Coronet and go into the room with the waterfall
4. Go up the waterfall and get the two pokeballs
5. Go to the Spear Pillar, use the orbs on the portal

∙ 12y agoIn order to battle/capture Dialga and Palkia in Pokemon Platinum, you will need to have beaten the Elite Four and obtained the National Pokedex and got the Adamant Orb and the Lustrous Orb from inside Mt. Coronet,(You must have beaten/captured Heatran before going to Celestic town) then go to Celestic town and go to the cavern, examin the legendery Pokemon painting and Cynthia wil be there then got to the house that to the northest in the middle Celestic town examin the book, talk to the people. Then you can go to the Spear Pillar, which is where you previously encountered Giratina and the Distortion World. There will first be a blue portal, go and talk to it and you will fight Dialga. The signature move for Dialga is the unique, powerful Roar of Time, so I suggest you watch out for that. Once you have beaten/captured Dialga, exit Spear Pillar and return again. This time there will be a pink portal, talk to it and you will fight Palkia. The signature move for Palkia is Spacial Rend, and that is also particularly powerful. Hope this helps!
P.S. Make sure your Pokemon are over level 70 because Dialga and Palkia are leve 70.

∙ 11y agoYou can't catch Dialga and/or Palkia in Pokemon Heartgold or SoulSilver. You will have to trade for one from Pokemon Pearl, Diamond, or Platinum. You can also trade for one from another Heartgold or Soulsilver game.

∙ 11y agoYou can't get Dialga, Palkia and Giratina in Pokémon White, the only way to get them is via migrating them from a previous game or by arranging a trade with someone in order to get them.

Well, my two friends got SS and I got HG but I would think they're both the same except on HG you find Growlithe, Latias and Kyogre and on SS you find Vulpix, Latios and Groudon. You find more but for example Ho-Oh is caught on HG at Lv45 you catch it on SS at Lv70 after being to Kanto :-)

in SS, there are Lugia, HO-OH, latios(may be latias not sure, but one of hem), mewtwo, the three dogs, the three birds, Kyogre(i think its kyogre, groudon in HG), possibly raquaza, if you have Groudon from HG; Archeus, Giratina Dialga and Palkia(Giratina Dialga and Palkia require you to have Archeus with you when you go to ruins of alph and go to archeologists' house and you may only chose one of them. you will also only get them at lv. 1).

In D P and PL Giratina is in Origin form in the Reverse World, Pt only, while Palkia and Dialga are available at Spear Pillar.
