The piston rings create a seal between the piston and the cylinder wall.
A piston seal is a gasket designed to keep fluid from leaking around the piston. Piston seals are commonly used in brake calipers.
It is a spring metal sleeve that goes over a piston to compress the rings so that the piston can be install in the motor. It tightens down on the piston, forcing the rings into the grooves in the piston then you tap it into the cylinder.

After the infamous "Palace Brawl" in which Ron Artest literally created a brawl involving a Piston's fan and a few Piston players during a playoff game between the Detroit Pistons and the Indiana Pacers, Ron Artest is, without a doubt, the most hated player by Detroit Pistons fans.
Michael Curry is 6 feet 5 inches tall.
The piston surface area of a single-rod, double-acting piston consists of two main areas: the face area on one side of the piston and the annular area on the opposite side. The face area is the circular area of the piston that directly pushes against the fluid, while the annular area is the ring-shaped area around the piston rod that is also exposed to the fluid pressure. By summing these two areas, you can determine the total surface area of the piston that is subjected to the fluid pressure.

His name is John Kuester and he was an assistant coach on the 2004 championship team. After that he was the Cleveland Cavalier assistant coach.
If the output piston of a car hoist is replaced by a piston of twice the area, the output force would double. This is because the force exerted by a hydraulic system is directly proportional to the area of the piston. Since the new piston has twice the area, it would exert twice the force on the car lift.
If you double the area of the piston on the right side, it would create a force twice as large pushing down on that side. This would result in a greater pressure in the fluid, causing the piston on the left side to move upward with a force also twice as large as before.
