What will happen if a bird eats a fruit with seeds?

When a bird eats a fruit with seeds, the seeds often pass through its digestive system intact. This process can help in seed dispersal, allowing the seeds to germinate in new locations when they are excreted. Additionally, the bird benefits from the nutrients in the fruit, aiding its energy needs. Some seeds even require passage through a bird's digestive tract to break dormancy and promote germination.
