Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories is the story between the ending of Kingdom Hearts 1 and the beginning of Kingdom Hearts 2. After Sora, Donald and Goofy beats Ansem, they end up on this road next to grass, then they suddenly see Pluto, Mickey's pet dog, with a letter from the king. But as Pluto runs away, they lose him and doesn't know where to go. Then a man in a coat appears, and he talks about a castle. That's where they end up in the story, Castle Oblivion, this is a special castle where the further you go inside, the more memories you lose. Sora first goes in to find Riku, but ends up trying to find Namine, a girl he knew in Destiny Islands and fighting people from Organization XIII. Although he does find Riku, Riku's heart has changed. In the end, Sora finds Namine, but Namine traps Sora in a pod, where he sleeps, and then that's where Kingdom Hearts 2 comes in.
Riku uses many Keyblades in the Kingdom Hearts series.Riku uses the 'Keyblade of People's Hearts' in the first Kingdom Hearts. He wields the 'Soul Eater' in Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, and he uses the 'Oblivion' and 'The Way To The Dawn' Keyblades in Kingdom Hearts II.

Castle Oblivion originated in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep after Ventus feel into a comatose state. Aqua created Casltle Oblivion to have a place to keep Ventus safe. Castle Oblivion is also used as a headquarters for Organization XIII. In Chain of Memories, Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Jiminy Cricket search the Castle hoping to find Riku and the King, but end up losing their memories and having to fight the Organization instead. They are then contained in sleeping capsules in the castle until their memories return.

cause when he went to castle oblivion it slowly took apart his memories and those who were aquainted with him well they're memories of him were lost as well but when namine puts sora's memory back together everone remembers sora again

It says in the Re: Chain of Memories ad thing that it has amazing voiceovers. I have played part of the game, and in each of the memory worlds you visit it had no voices! Only when it is Sora and Castle Oblivion's white areas are there voiceovers! And it makes me mad! I can tell you from experience that Re: Chain of Memories is difficult.
Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories was both released, and set before Kingdom Hearts II. To better understand this, think of Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories as "Kingdom Hearts 1.5", with the storyline being placed directly after Kingdom Hearts, and directly before Kingdom Hearts II.

Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories is an extra game that is about the story between Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II. It's a game based on how Sora must retrieve his scattered memories.
