The main distinguishing features of his style are the usage of silkscreen printing techniques, bold and bright colours and sharp defining lines.

It is a common misconception (especially in the USA) that Warhol invented and named Pop Art. That is not so. It came from England and Warhol was one of the first Americans to catch on.
