He liked sculpture better than drawings and paintings. However, he was fortunate enough to study under great teachers. Ghirlandio, I think ,was his name. Also, He studied people in the morgue which was prohibited. In return for this privilege he sculpted a resurrection scene and gave it to them..

On a deeper level, he became what he was inside. In other words, he was a sculptor and artist inside. The Popes made him do paintings, drawings, plans, and the Sistine Chapel which was difficult physically and took seven years I think.
His contemporaries were Raphael and Leonardo da vinci.
Florence was having a "rennaissance" .
During his time he was generally acknowledged to be the best in the world and he had fame. I hope this helps!

Who performs tricks using sleight of hand?

A sleight of hand artist differs from a magician in that a magician constructs illusions using special, custom-made props (hats with a false panel, fake flower bouquet, etc...) . A sleight of hand artist, however, uses ordinary objects (book of matches, pack of sugar, a coin...), often whatever is lying around to perform tricks, using misdirection to get the audience to look in the wrong place, leaving the artist to conceal his true movements. He then produces the object in a place or state unexpected. That would be a sleight of hand artist.
