Why do people pucker up/make a duck face when taking selfies?

I believe it is to, yes, bring attention to her lips...BUT I believe there is something more here! Looking at your partners' lips or anyone's lips in general is a bit more subtle way to woo the opposite sex. Looking at a person's lips might yield a higher success rate at mating thus attracting more males to proliferate their genes. However! because a theoretical human that does this thinks so highly about themselves four things may happen:

1- They may not be able to mate with most of the humans that that view this infohazard due to the fact that it is on social platforms and not physically present that Duck-facing(the lip thing that you theoretically mentioned) happens(though show me a girl with enough gusto to Duck-face in public and I will point out she is one of the most outgoing persons I have met).

2- They may reject all of the advances even if they are logical. The act of puckering their lips is a show of one of their character traits. A challenge one might also think.

3- She(or he; I ain't going to ruin a couples fun) will look silly or strange to those that are slightly immune to infohazards.

4- They will look cute and highly dateable. Congratulations, You have fallen for the infohazard. Much luck to your new obsession with the celebrity/human/iguana.

That being said, Its going to stick around for a long time, or until they find something even more vivacious to challenge themselves with. It's starts local but then spreads rapidly amongst the infohazard sensitive groups. Keep them grapes peeled

becuz some girls have small lips, so they apply lip plumper, and pucker their lips, too. to make them look big and "attractive"...
