∙ 8y agoDifferent types of maps help with all sorts of things. For instance, if you are using a globe, you can't see all the way around unless you walk around it, or turn it. Cartographers have made maps in such a way as to resemble a globe if the map was cut off of it. However, that is just the tip of the iceberg.
