First of all, I have absolutely no clue what an r4 is, but if it is a game system, I can at least tell you that KH 358 days/2 is only for the Nintendo DS, sadly. If an r4 is anything else, then sorry but I cannot answer. If it's a cheat code thing, then it is, again, probably for the wrong system.
Ok, different, more knowledgeable person typing right now. First of all, kingdom hearts is one of those weird games that take up a lot more memory than normal ds game does, so that might be the reason it's not working. If you want to fix this, then make sure you have the latest firmware update (it's 1.18 as of now) and if it freezes on a black screen then get a thing called wood (a.k.a. wood firmware or WAIO.) I have not tested it yet but wood seems to make a lot more games compatible with the r4.
Oh yeah, first person, the r4 for ds is a device which allows you to use data of a micro sd card on your ds. i think it is though illegal to play ds games on it but it's perfectly legal to play home brew games, run apps, view pics, vids, and play music on it.
