On July 2, 1962, Sam Walton opened the first Walmart store in Rogers, Arkansas.
It was "discovered" or opened on that date, but it is discovered each time a new store opened and new customers enter their doors for the first time.
Well Sam Walton thought he knew of a better way of running a business, so he took a risk and started his store. Time and opportunity has proven him correct many times over as we all can see today.
