I would hesitate to hang the label "true" on that statement, but it isn't completely false either. The Earth does have a magnetic field.
No, the earth is itself a huge magnet.
that the earth was round and big and it contained a force called the almighty gravity. How amazing LOL :)
Because of lots of iron at top of earth, metal dial of compass is attracted to it.
big write on every day is earth day
they earth is made out of fire and wind
Magnet
magnet which we get naturally from earth is called natural magnet e.g: lodestone.. while magnet made from magnetic material is called artificial magnet ...
Algeria haha
The earth is called a super magnet because of the force of gravity that attract everything to its surface.
It depends on the gauss value of the magnet. Yourstood on a big magnet. It'scalled Earth. Youre a long way from the poles but it still has an effect on metals.
May be it may. But it need to be really big enough to attract there magnetic poles. But the gravitation of earth attracts the magnet towards its centre or to say towars the ground.
The Earth (world) is the worlds largest magnet as it is essentially a magnet The largest magnet (discluding the earth) is the superconducting solenoidal magnet of the CMS experiment on the Large Hadron Collider at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland.
The natural magnet is present at the core of our planet earth.
i think the world is a big magnet because of its magnetic force field or the gravity in the earth i really do not know i am just gussed sorry i do not know a really good answer
When a magnet is freely suspended at its center it will set itself along the north-south direction. The tip pointing towards the geographical north direction is called the north pole and the other tip is called the south pole.
Not a magnet, no. But it does attract the Earth and this is due to gravity.
yes or no it depends how big the magnet is
