Yes. This is a congenital condition called situs inversus (or situs transversus). In this condition, "everything works" but the visceral organs are all located "mirror image" to what is "normal" in people. Need a link? You got it.

For most people it is on the left side, just beneath your ribcage. For a tiny minority, it is on the right side but that is not an abnormality.

-----------------------------------------------

The heart is actually very much in the middle of your body, located between the two lungs under the sternum in a part of the body called the mediastinum.

The heart itself is divided into 4 parts, 2 atria (preloading portion of the heart), and 2 ventricles (working portion of the heart), with the right atrium and right ventricle only pumping blood to the lungs, and the left atrium and left ventricle being much more powerful and pumping blood to the entire body.

This organization with the left ventricle being a little over to the left portion of the body, but being the most powerful portion of the heart gives it the effect of the heart seeming to be much more to the left than the right side of the body.
The heart is located slightly left of center with the base above the apex in the chest.

The heart is located behind the sternum with the largest part offset slightly to the left, though it can be located to the right due to the congenital defect of dextrocardia. A more accurate location is the apex being located 9 cm to the left of the midsternal line.

The human pulmonary artery receives blood from the rightside of the heart.

The blood goes to the lungs, becomes oxygenated, and returns to the left side of the heart via the pulmonary vein.

The heart is on the left side because the right lung is bigger than the left lung so it pushes the heart to go left. Our heart is actually in between our 2 lungs.
