Commonly a fuel pump issue. An easy test: Have someone bang on the fuel tank as you try crank the engine.
The engine could be flooded with gas, or there could also be an ignition issue.
The engine needs fuel, compression and spark, you are missing one of those.
not turning on could be flat battery, bad igniton switch, bad safety switch, bad starter motor, bad stater solenoid
Timing belt?? If there is a section of the timing belt with no teeth on it, it might be turning till it get to that point, slipping causing it to turn over fast, grabbing enough to turn over normal, but would not be able to start because it is now out of time.
the car will not fire unless it will turn over , so the question makes no since.
We are having the same problem with my daughters 1999 sunfire, it turns over runs 2 seconds , it appears to be anti theft device ,if you wait ten minutes and try it again it will start, but not sure on how to disable the device , no help as yet,but after 10 minutes it re-sets itself and will start, if that is your problem .
check your fusesalso try turning ignition on without starting engine. then with foot ob brake , put transmission in neutralthen start vehiclethis will usually over ride what ever was the problem if the fuses are all good
the fuel pump or crank sensor
Impossible to see from my house, but you'll need to start by finding out if you have spark, fuel, and air. And if it's happening at the right time.
Defective voltage regulator. It may be built into the alternator.
What is the engine doing? Does it crank over? Does click?
Start All Over Again was created in 1989-11.
No fuel (out, or pump not pumping) or no spark (or really bad timing).
this is a very general question, you need to narrow it down some, such as its turning over but not starting. are your lights coming on, do you have the key, are you turning the key, does it have fluids, etc....
Mazda Millenia 95 not starting put another motor in it just turning over? its probably the distributor is bad.
if the vehicle has been maintained properly you should have no problem,i have an 88 wagon with over 250k would not hesitate to go anywhere with it.
Check to see if it is getting spark and fuel
because the diesel pump needs to prime it self before it will start
Turning over and firing and getting gas but not starting what is it
