Web graphics are not displayed at a higher resolution than 72 or 96 dpi. It is a good idea to design at a higher resolution in case you want a printed piece, then do a 'save as' and reduce the resolution for the web.
Web graphics are images. These images are usually specifically designed to fit on the web page, some are even interactive.
No ,it is not negativeactually. RGB is short for R-Red G-Green B-Blue This is what TV's and computer monitors use in a similar process as CMYK. A web logo is RGB color profile and can be 72 dpi (since screen resolution is only this high). Should not be saved as vector art. So I think RGB colour is valuable.
Motion graphics is the term used for all types of graphic movements, including 3D elements, cell animation, stop motion animation, digital video, film, animated text, web-based animations, apps and many other types of motion graphics. The designer of these graphics provides information through the graphic while guiding the readers through a story in some way. Motion graphics aren't just used for Internet but they can also be used in TV and film. Motion Graphics, as a composed word, means Graphics in Movement.

There are many rolls in the website-making (and updating) world. It is possible to be several - if not all - of these rolls at once, as one person. This question shall be answered with the set frame-of-mind that the rolls of making and updating a website have been divided into several people. (Example: A company has hired a website administrator, a website graphics person, and a website designer) The web designer is the person who controls the look and "feel" of a website, using website coding / markup languages (such as HTML, PHP, JavaScript, etc), and / or web design software (such as ColdFusion, Dreamweaver, etc). Graphics (logos, background images, banners) are sometimes provided, but not always - in which case the website designer must create himself. The web designer is the one who keeps the other website's issues in mind, such as multiple browser-support, support for those with minor accessibility issues (such as poor eyesight), and more. It should be noted that the web designer doesn't have to fix these multiple issues, and are all optional (unless told to do so or directed otherwise). (Note: Web designers are not always neccessarily paid or rewarded)

Actually, it's not true that professionals believe you should use many graphics on your web page for decoration. Too many graphics can clutter a website.
Web graphics in any websites is as important as the content of the site. An exceptional designed graphics can give better and inventive ideas to customer of what they are looking for. Web graphics helps designers to enhance the website design by adding colors, visual appeals and helps in providing artistic expert touch to their creativity. The websites that don't have web graphics don't appeal to visitors. Successes of web graphics depend upon the effectual and efficient placement on the websites. The suitable placement of graphics not only attracts end-users but also makes website well turned-out.
Web authoring software P.S. I know you're taking the test too... >:)
Probably not - 3D graphics uses a lot of memory, and preferably an independent graphics card. Laptops usually share their RAM with video, audio and other tasks, which makes it unsuitable for 3D graphics.

Graphics performance is largely dependant on hardware. The only software that directly affects graphics is the driver, which should be freely updateable from the manufacturer's web site.
