I just purchsed a hard top to compliment my soft top 1/2 door 04 wrangler with a hard top. In so doing I found that the half doors and skins were not compatible withhard top...
The good news is I can use the soft top with the full doors. I had to buy bracket that mount to the roll-bar to secure the soft top over the full door. The braket fastens to the bar with a large spin that is hand tightned.
It is a full time system, it is always in.
Salvage yards (junk yards) are your best bet for price, but if you want it brand new many online aftermarket parts companys have full dashes. The dealer is the best quality but by far the most expensive.
The HVAC doors that control the airflow are activated by small vacuum motors. The system is designed to fail safe; this means that the system will fail in full defrost mode. So, knowing this and the fact that you have heater but no A/C or defrost you should assume the system has a failed control head (the part that you select functions with with button or lever). Or the doors are stuck due to an warped duct system (usually high heat related).

Jacques Cartier's full name is Jaques Cartier.
Yes, the full steel doors will fit all 1987-95 Wranglers.
No, the full doors and half doors seal the same to the hard top.
Yes the tops are the same for that year . You can order tops with no doors, half doors, or full soft doors.same top
The main difference between Wrangler Sport versus X is that the Wrangler Sport has full doors. The X has half doors.
YES YOU CAN, JUST MAKE SURE YOU BUY FULL DOORS FROM A TJ (JEEP 1997-2005 ONLY)
Yes, 1987-1996 are all YJ Wrangler body types...doors, tops, fenders etc. are interchangable within those years.
Do you have the full hard doors or is the top halk of the door the same fabric as the soft top? full doors
yes, as log as they have the single post striker.
Those doors should actually work, the body from the firewall back did not change all that much.
It should as long as the 95 has the same hardware that attaches it. They are the same body demensions. Good luck. YES, as long as the door style is the same. factory half doors and uppers do not interchange with factory full door model soft tops. Also-the rollcage change from full family style will be the same from 92-95. Soft tops are interchangeable as long as the door type is the same.
The Jeep Wrangler Sahara was introduced 1997. The Sahara came with exclusive decals, seats and trim. It also had full steel doors and body colored rocker sills.
No. Door interchange: CJ7 and YJ doors are interchangeable. When you get into the pre 1981 style CJ7 door-the latches are different and must be changed (recessed paddle verses exterior latch). They did not make a wrangler in 1996. 97-2006 doors have the latch in a different location and different latch post type. The doors are physically the same size but the hardware is in different locations. The is true for both full and upper soft doors. The doors could be made to work with relocation of hardware but in my opinion not worth the hassle
