NO A HI PRESSURE SW IS NOTHING BUT A SAFTEY DEVICE
if you turn the selector switch of your aircon and only fan is working and no cold air coming out of the diffuser have your aircon fuse connected to the compressor check. If the fuse is not blown then have your thermostat be set to colder position. If the compressor still does not work have the thermostat be check by an auto aircon tech. If the thermostat is ok then look for any sign of oil in the piping of your aircon system possibly there is leak which causes the pressure switch not to function. If theres no refrigerant in the system the compressor will not be activated by the pressure switch.
The cost of replacing the wiper motor depends on what type of vehicle you are replacing it on, the area where you live and other factors. The best thing to do is to visit an auto shop to get an estimate.
I had the same question. I found this link, about a Nissan van with the same switch. It's an economy driving switch for the transmission.http://mysite.verizon.net/cshaines/villagerquest.htm#eat
There are emergence repair kits but I would suggest replacing ot for safety sake.
$100 for a new switch at Napa Auto Parts. Most neutral safety switches are a sealed, non reparable unit. If you are doing this yourself, I would recommend testing the wiring before replacing the unit since it is expensive. According to the Napa website, the safety switch on the 2001 Chevy Malibu does more tha simply close when in neutral, so I cannot give specifics. I recommend checking your local library to see if they have a copy of the shop manual. It will have detailed troubleshooting flowcharts to track down the exact problem.
have you tried replacing the bulb If its an auto, when replacing the switch on the g/box you have to rotate switch to a certain position. This may be only a few millimetres left or right.Try that

You can find a AC pressure switch wiring diagram, for your Kia Sedona, at your local Kia dealership. You can also find the diagram at most auto-parts stores.
you need to unscrew the oil pressure switch which is located near the engine mount. buy a new switch from the auto shop, then put the newswitch in and use a wrench or socket to install the new unit. done
If your brakes lights are not working and all of your other lights are OK try replacing your "brake stop switch". You may have to have either your local auto shop or local dealer replace the switch because it's hard to do yourself. I had the same problem on my Tahoe and replacing the brake stop switch solved it right away.
Can be the battery is defective and needs replacing or the alternator is weak and needs replacing. Have your charging system checked. Most auto parts stores will do this for free.
